Origins & Craftsmanship

• Ardnamurchan Distillery, perched on Scotland’s remote Ardnamurchan peninsula, is powered with renewable energy and crafts both peated and unpeated Highland whisky.

• The ArdnAmerica Tour series is produced specifically for U.S. tour markets, with small-batch runs and regionally focused cask blends. 

• The 2025 edition is a peat-forward blend of four casks: three spirit casks that matured in ex-bourbon barrels then finished in Sauternes wine casks, and one unpeated cask matured entirely in ex-bourbon.

• It is bottled cask strength at 57.5% ABV (no chill-filtering, no coloring), in a limited run of about 900 bottles. 

Tasting Profile

Nose:
Golden honey, green apple, toasted oak, with a growing peat smoke presence. Hints of raisin, dried apricot, and a saline coastal note in the background.

Palate:
Rich and full, with creme brûlée, vanilla, toasted oak spice, and smoky peat. Fruit elements like fig, raisin, and orchard fruit swirl, balanced by underlying mineral and slate tension. The smoke intensifies mid-palate but remains integrated. 

Finish:
Generous and lingering: honeyed orchard fruit and citrus peel fade into tobacco leaf, damp earth, soft smoke, and a gentle warmth from the high proof.
